I spotted some entertaining images using a “tilt-shift” effect in photoshop (rather than the lens) and after reading around it, thought I’d give it a whirl using some old holiday snaps from Rhodes.
For such a simple process (apply mask over area to keep in “focus”, blur to taste and add a pinch of saturation) I’ve found it pretty entertaining (or at least interesting enough to keep me routing through assorted archives for a few hours) and some of the images that other people are posting are quite astounding.
